Symbolism
Red, white and blue are our national colors.  The arms of Crossland and Calvert have been adapted from the Maryland state flag and allude to the units location.  The lyre is a traditional symbol of bandsmen and music and the oak leaves on the mace head allude to strength as well as the Maryland state tree.

The band regalia were authorized on 29 September 1989.
